It started with an idea, a bold idea…

Spazzy McGee Reviews is the brainchild of visionaries Harry Ewbank & Zach Fox. Both avid listeners of music, they wanted a way to be as pretentious as possible while being able to get away with it. Spazzy McGee was born.

While living together in their final year of University (2018-19), they listened to and reviewed roughly one album a week throughout the course of the year and wrote their reviews in a book.

Following their graduation in July 2019, Zach’s birthday present to Harry was to digitise the reviews, in order to enable them to continue reviewing albums, as it is something that they have both immensely enjoyed.

They review a mixture of newly released and classic albums from a variety of contrasting musical genres. While originally, they had to review the albums after 1 listen only, in this new digital format, they have extended it to a maximum of 3 listens.
